Professional growth and development opportunities
- For team members in Early Childhood and Family Services, we offer support in obtaining the Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, as well as pursuing associate and bachelor’s degrees to help advance into teaching roles and other career pathways in Early Childhood education.
- Employees in Workforce and Career Services have the opportunity to earn the Certified Workforce Development Professional (CWDP) credential, enhancing their expertise in guiding individuals toward meaningful employment.
- For those in Housing and Financial Empowerment, we provide support for obtaining HUD Housing Counseling Certification and other advanced certifications, equipping staff to better serve clients in housing stability and financial wellness.
Telamon-TRC has taken steps to shift our organization into a Trauma-Informed Care (TIC) model. This changes our perceptions about the individuals that we work with, both employees and program participants. A trauma-informed system of care provides services that empower employees and program participants to feel safe, welcomed and engaged at all levels of organizational interaction. Exchanges that could be potentially retraumatizing, or trigger traumatic reactions require thoughtfulness and non-judgement. As an organization, we educate employees about the effects of violence, victimization and trauma on individuals. This model supports a culture of safety for everyone.

Notice of Transparency in Health Coverage
Telamon|TRC offers employees a Self-Funded Health Insurance plan. Under the Transparency in Coverage Rule, Telamon is working in coordination with Blue Cross Blue Shield NC to make publicly available files with our in-network rates and historical allowed amounts for out-of-network providers.
