A U.S. Army veteran who served during the Persian Gulf War,
Caleasana Green had faced service-related health conditions, incarceration, and homelessness. When he entered Telamon | TRC's Housing & Financial Empowerment program, he was determined to rebuild his life. What he needed was not charity, but opportunity, guidance, and support.
Through the Transition in Place (TIP) program, Mr. Green worked alongside a Housing Family Mentor. Within less than a year:
